May has been a month significantly focused on development, from releasing our official mascot to key technical advancements and giving a demo to the larger Fetch.ai team and leadership. Here is a look at what we have accomplished.
Core Updates & Releases
Mettalex Mainnet Preparation
We are actively preparing for the Mettalex Mainnet launch, which will feature the core cross-chain trading functionality. During this preparation period, our team will focus on ramping up marketing, community engagement, and go-to-market (GTM) activities, and finalizing the codebase, etc., to ensure a successful rollout and adoption of the platform. Stay tuned for further updates as we approach this milestone!
Demo of Mettalex Platform to the Larger Fetch Team and Leadership
This May, we had the opportunity to showcase Mettalex to the larger Fetch.ai team and our leadership. The demo highlighted key features such as agent-powered trading, cross-chain functionality, and the integration of options trading and UX/UI improvements. It was a productive session, and valuable feedback was received that will help refine the platform and prepare for the upcoming public launch.
Private Beta with Options
We are excited to announce that options trading will be available in a short time on Private Beta. This step brings us closer to offering decentralized, customizable financial derivatives on Mettalex. The private beta will allow a select group of users to experience options trading, paving the way for the public beta launch in the coming weeks. The first release will enable users to trade tokenized options in an agent-powered, peer-to-peer environment.
UX/UI Enhancements on Public Beta
In response to valuable feedback from our community, we have made significant improvements to the UX/UI of the Mettalex platform. The updated design prioritizes user-friendliness and streamlined navigation, ensuring both novice and experienced traders can easily engage with the platform. These enhancements will be live on the Public Beta soon, and we encourage all users to explore the upgraded interface.
Improved Agent Search Algorithm
This May, we improved the agent search algorithm to ensure that agents perform optimally. This refinement prevents deadlock scenarios, ensuring that agents can efficiently match orders without system failures or bottlenecks. This is a crucial step in improving the scalability and reliability of the Mettalex platform as we scale to support more users and more transactions.
State Management in Agent Lifecycle
We have introduced state management to the agent lifecycle, allowing the platform to keep track of every stage in the order processing cycle. This enhancement ensures that agents can handle each order efficiently, with real-time tracking of their status, from initiation to execution.
