anyMTLX - MTLX Agentic Bridge
anyMTLX - MTLX Agentic Bridge

The anyMTLX to MTLX bridge converts $anyMTLX tokens on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) to $MTLX tokens on the Ethereum network using a secure, agent-powered bridge. For a detailed explanation of how Mettalex utilizes Fetch.ai's agents for this process, you can refer to this blog post: "How Mettalex uses Fetch.ai's Agents for the anyMTLX to MTLX Bridge."
Explanation & Writeup:
1. User locks anyMTLX on BSC The user initiates the transfer by locking their $anyMTLX tokens into the Lock Contract deployed on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC).
2. BSC Agent Detects Lock Event A BSC agent actively listens for events emitted by the Lock Contract. Once the locking action is emitted, the agent captures relevant transaction details.
3. Data Transfer to Ethereum Agent The BSC agent relays the transaction information securely to the Ethereum (ETH) agent, which is responsible for handling the token release on the Ethereum chain.
4. ETH Agent Verifies and Triggers Unlock Upon receiving the data, the ETH agent verifies the transaction on BSC. Once verified, it sends a request to the Unlock Contract on the Ethereum chain to unlock and send MTLX tokens to the user.
5. MTLX Released to User on Ethereum The Unlock Contract verifies the details and then releases an equivalent amount of $MTLX tokens to the user's wallet on Ethereum, completing the bridging process.
